Fun Filled Weekend

This past weekend we went back home to visit my family. My little sister, Kayla, is in drill team at her school; the same drill team I was in when I went there. She is the captain of the team which means she is the head honcho aside from the director. Her school has only 9th and 10th graders with just sophomores participating on the team. She has tried out for the senior high school drill team for next year and has also made that. At the end of the year, the drill teams always put on a big spring show. Since I have done my time in drill teams I know what a big undertaking they are so I really wanted to be able to see Kayla perform in hers. It was so fun!!! She did so good!

I called best friend Alexi and she planned to come to the show. We ran into Veena while we were there-so fun! All three were former drill team members. We had fun reminiscing.

Other than shows and dancing we had a lot of fun although I didn't take a lot of pictures-bummers. We were able to cram a lot in as well as watch all of General Conference. The weather was great, the drive was great, and best of all Cade was really good which can make all the difference!

After we pulled into home late Monday night Cade randomly really wanted to brush his teeth.

He has also really been into hats lately.
