We had a great Easter! On Saturday, we went to our friends house who hold an annual Easter party. We had a potluck lunch, some outside games, and then an egg hunt.
Then Easter morning was so nice. Cole didn't have to leave until just before 8. So I was able to make him breakfast and the kids were able to see him before he left. Then we dropped him off at the institute and came home and made resurrection rolls and omelets Then I hid the kids baskets for them to find. Previously, we had talked about the resurrection. So I explained to them that the things in their baskets had to do with their bodies. They each had new underwear. Rylee had some necklaces and Cade had some finger lights that he loves.

| Rylee looking at each new pair of princess underwear. (Since she goes through several pair a day we have had her wearing some of Cade's training underwear. Blue and dinosaurs ones. I never thought I would allow myself to do that! So she deserved some of her own princess underwear. |

Cole finished up with the branch and came over to our ward part way through sacrament. It was a nice surprise and it was nice to be together for Easter. So far every year since Rylee has been born I have been able to make her an Easter dress and Cade a matching tie. This year was a much simpler one but I was glad to be able to do it. I don't know how long I will be able to keep it up but I hope to for a while. I really have fun with it.

| Attempted picture outside. It was windy and a bit chilly. |

I love how Rylee's dress turned out! So cute!
Rylee's dress and Cade's tie look great!
I really like your idea of having things in their Easter eggs relate to their bodies. That's a great way to get away from tons of candy, too.
