Last Friday had two blog worthy events.
First I need to start with some background. Thanks to my mother's upbringing I have to make my bed everyday. I don't feel like my day has started unless my bed is made. I can be having an awful morning and then making my bed can be the start to turning things around. Cade even knows, if he is going to get on the bed after it is made, don't even think about messing up all the pillows. He frequently helps me make the bed and sometimes insists he put the pillows on himself. Also that week in joy school Cade was learning about service. So with these things in mind, here is what happened:
I was coming out of the bathroom after showering and Cade immediately said, "Don't look over here!" Then he came and got my hand and told me to close my eyes. He then lead me to my bed and said, "Open!" I looked to see a almost perfectly made bed. At first I didn't get it and then I realized I had not made the bed myself yet. He told me he served me by making my bed for me. He knows what a big deal it is to me and that it would make me happy. How sweet is that?!
Second thing:
The put up our tree. Pretty basic for this time of year but Cade was ecstatic It was all the talked about ALL week. It is pretty cute to see the simple things he gets excited for. Now everyday he wants to sit on the couch with me and just talk about opening presents since he knows we can't open any yet. Looks like we have the task of teaching the real meaning of Christmas ahead of us.
And blogger just said have no more free picture space. And I had cute pictures of both events. Agh. Looks like we may be starting a new blog soon. Info will be coming...

I LOVE the bed story!!!
Oh my gosh! That is the sweetest thing about the bed!! What a good boy! Also, blogger told me the same thing and I just paid the $2.50 since I had already picked out dozens of pictures for that post. But I am wondering what to do now. I don't want to start a new blog, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee either!
I just ran into that no more space announcement. The fix is easy: start a new email address (mine I created was manhattandance1@gmail.com) Then log into your blog as usual, then add "manhattandance1@gmail.com" to be a contributing author. From then on, everytime you post on your blog log in with the new email, don't ever log in with the old. You'll have enough space to blog for another couple of years :)
