Rylee Girl

It is high time to give an update on our Rylee girl-which is what we typically call her. It is so cute to hear Cade say it. She is so sweet and is already a mama's girl. Whenever everything else fails, me holding her will usually fix the problem. (which I love but would also like her to share the love too!) She loves to watch people. Having Cade right up in her face will usually make her smile. Which is good because she is just going to have to learn to deal with that one. It is so easy to get her smile now, I love it! Her smile is just precious. She loves attention. She loves to be held to where she is looking over your shoulder. She also has a definite night and day now. It is not a perfect schedule yet but there is now more sleeping in the night than there is during the day-we are making progress.

Two big differences from Cade are the binky and breastfeeding. I am pro-binky and we are still trying to get her to like the binky. There has been slow but sure progress in this too. Breastfeeding-ahhh. Very frustrating. Since there were absolutely no problems with Cade I was like, "Sure-no problem. I've got this down". Well I was wrong. I loved breastfeeding Cade and was really looking forward to it with Rylee. And that is the way is was for the first month and a half. But since then it has been really difficult. I started dreading it and, when you feed her every 2 hours, that creates lots of stress. I have tried a few different things including switching to pumping and working on latching. It has been very time consuming and stressful. One day when Cole came home he asked Cade what he did that day. Cade answered, "ummm...mommy feed Rylee". So sad that that is the only thing he could come up with! Things are getting better and hopefully will continue to improve.

I feel very comfortable taking the two kids on outings now. It can still be difficult but not as overwhelming as it used too. The heat tends to knock Rylee out so she usually sleeps. I think she is a good combination of me and Cade. She is longer than Cade was at this age. As for hair, still hard to tell and not much of it. But I really think it will at least have a red tint. I'm hoping!

Now time for irresistible cuteness!!

Just over 2 months old.

This is 3 months old.

oh my goodness, that last picture is pretty much the cutest thing I have ever seen! She looks so big but so cuddly at the same time. I can't wait to meet her in a few months!

So, I know this is totally random...but I have a question for you. I'm pregnant with twin girls and since I don't know anyone else to ask, I'm going to ask you. I'm struggling with the name thing. Do you like that yours and your sister's names match/kinda rhyme? Or do you wish you had totally different names? Does that make sense? I like a lot of names that end with -lee or -ley, but I don't know if I like the whole rhyming thing. What do you think? (Sorry if this is weird! :) )

See...everytime we've thought about names we were pretty adamant that we wanted non-matching names, but people are starting to influence me. I'm so glad I asked and THANK YOU for your opinion. I really appreciate it. You're right, it is hard coming up with two names! These girls will be lucky to have names when they're born...
