As I was giving Cade his bath last night I realized that we had never given Cade a bubble bath before. Cole found some bubble bath and we were all excited to let him experience one. He loves the bubbles his soap makes and also loves the bubbles you blow out of the wand so we figured he would love it. I just assumed a bubble bath was a normal thing that little kids loved. Nope-not ours. He freaked out. He got this scared look on his face and tried to start shooing away the bubbles away while he yelled, "Move bubbles! Move bubbles! All done bubbles!" It was so sad. He was legitimately scared of the bubbles. The rest of the bath consisted of me trying to calm and finish washing him while Cole continually was moving the bubbles away from Cade. Cade was frantically searching for any tiny amount of bubbles touching him and then would point them out so Cole could move them.
Do your kids like bubble bath? I have a feeling it will be a while before we try it again.

Oh my gosh that is so funny! Who would of thought that he would hate it? I can just imagine Cade pointing to all the bubbles for Cole to move away!
That is so funny to imagine. The best part is Cole pushing the bubbles away before they touched hi!
Doesn't it always seem like the things we think our kids will love the most end up having the opposite effect?
That is too funny! I don't know what to say. I always LOVED bubble baths as a kid. Maybe he just needs a little more time to adjust to idea.
thats so sad. zy loves bubble baths. she was scared of the water for a long time and would not get in the tub by her self. so i decided to try the bubble thing and now she loves the bath. although she did find a piece of a string in the water about a week ago and she had a come apart. she would not get in the tub for a few days until i showed her that it could not hurt her. and even then she was looking around for the string. lol kids are so funny.
