Well I dont really have alot to update on but it has been way too long since I last posted. Student teaching is going well. I am practically in the boondocks out in Santaquin. I am in fifth grade. All the kids are like obsessed with animals and hunin' and fishin'. I feel a little out of place in my white button up shirts, high heels, and big gotty jewlery. The kids are always like why do you always wear those funny pointy shoes? ;) ALthough things are super busy and crazy I am enjoying it. But I seriously live for the weekends!
Funny story: Before you read this story you have to understand that most of my class is made up of very innocent mormon children.
So for the students who have birthdays, all the students make cards for them. This one particular students was like obsessed with deer so he draws antlers on like everything. So on his birthday card be drew on the front this big deer with all these antler going every which way. Then on the inside he wrote, "Hope you have a horny birthday!"

Oh, HA HA!! That story about the birthday card is so funny! I'm laughing so hard! I have to tell you this funny story....This happened two days ago to a second grade teacher at my school. Don't take offense as you first read it, I promise it's funny....A little girl went up to this teacher and asked, "How do you spell penis?" Trying not to laugh out loud she asked, "Why do you need to know how to spell that?" The little girl said, "Well, I already know how to spell 'hap' ".....She was trying to spell "happiness" and couldn't figure out how to spell the end of it!! I laughed so hard!! I love these kids we work with!! Hope things are going well for you!
LOL I guess teachers & moms would have the best stories. I can't wait till I have funny stories to tell about my little girl. :)
