Embarrassing!

Ok so today was my second day student teaching. My teacher was gone for the whole afternoon at a meeting so I was in charge. At the end of the day everyone was suppose to exit the building fairly quickly so that the power could get worked on. So I go to get into my car and like any rookie driver I had left my lights on all day so of course my car was dead. I had cables in my trunk but I needed another car. My teacher as well as many others were gone and I really didnt know anyone else in the school. So I go to the office to see who is there and it is none other than the principal. When I got their the first day he was not there so I had not been introduced to him yet. So as mortifiyed as I was I really needed his car so I asked him if he could help me jump my car. So he goes out and pulls his car around. I am so embarrased because I feel like a little helpless girl and then oh wait...it gets better. I go to open my hood and the handle falls of. So then I have to tell me I can't open the hood. So he looks at it and then goes inside to get a tool or something. He brings back this like 15 year old tech boy with a bundle of tools. They finally get it open and I am able to start my car. Needless to day I was pretty embarrassed. At least he will remember me if I decided to apply for a teaching job-too bad it will be because I left my lights on!

just to let you know, you spelled principal wrong--remember he is your "pal"!

Oh, I feel for you! On the day we were going to sell my old car, I went out to get it washed and found it was dead because I had left the inside car light on. Ryan wasn't home so I got to go knock on neighbor doors and find someone to help! He will definitely remember you though I'm sure! haha

Shanna -you are hilarious, Mrs. Keep in Thoch! Jenna, you poor girl! If you did apply for a job there, I think this would help you because, like Taryn said, he'll definitely remember you! At least now you'll probably never leave your lights on again! ;-)
