Thanksgiving

I feel like I am always behind in blogging. Ah well. Thus the story in having kids. They definitely keep me busy! But there are things I want recorded and if I don't do it here then I am afraid it will never get written down.
For Thanksgiving this year we went back home to Plano. It was the first time I have been home for Thanksgiving, as well as having everyone at the same place for Thanksgiving, since leaving home for college. We had a lot of fun. We did all the things that I think about when I reminisce on past Thanksgivings.
It was so fun to see Shan, Matthew, and Austin. Austin has grown up so much since the last time I saw him. This was the first time Shan got the meet Rylee. And yes, I think at times Rylee and Austin were a bit confused on who was their mommy. It was quite hilarious.

Pretty table settings!

The day after Thanksgiving we went Christmas tree hunting to find my parents' tree. Cade had so much fun. There was everything he could have wanted-space to run, a tractor ride, a little train to ride in, a puppy to play with, and a job to do-help papa cut the tree down.

We also took family pictures, volunteered at the Salvation Army, saw Harry Potter 7, game night, and then lots of hanging out and family time.

I just spent so much time catching up on your blog! I can't believe so much time had passed since I hadn't last read your blog. I just thought a couple of times when it never showed up on my google reader that maybe you had given up blogging-I never thought to check!

Well, first off, congratulations on Rylee! Wow, she is a cute baby. It was so fun reading about your adjustment to 2 kids-like how accomplished your first trip to the grocery store went-I can totally relate!!

Cade seems like such a fun boy. And Jenna, you are just as beautiful as ever!

Kudos to Taryn's comment - even after giving birth to two kids, you are just as beautiful as ever! I'm so glad you made it home for Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see you next week!
