I feel like I need to give an update but there is not much to update on. Cole continues to be super busy with school, his TA position, and his calling. He will soon apply for Doctorate programs. More to come on that. I continue to be super busy with these two adorable kiddos we have got. It is amazing how much busier I am with the addition of Rylee. I think once she gets on a good sleeping schedule things will improve dramatically. Maybe I felt like an update was needed just as an excuse to post cute pictures of them. Either way here they are in no particular order.
Rylee is doing well at sitting in her Bumpo. She was watching me doing laundry the other day and I looked down to find her like this! Asleep and sucking her thumb. Adorable. (but wishing it was a binky rather than her thumb!)
We decided to be festive and actually carve a pumpkin. Our tough little boy could not bear the thought of getting his little hands messy so he watched in disgust as Cole emptied out the pumpkin. We let him pick the different shapes for the face. He chose stars for eyes, a diamond nose, and a mouth with a tongue sticking out. (don't mind my frizzy hair-I told you I was busy!)
Rylee is just starting to realize that she can grab things and play with them. At dinner the other day she found the tortialla packaging and loved playing with it. We all thought it was so funny. Cade really like being able to see Rylee do something rather than just sit there.
Mommy's new sunglasses so of course they end up on Cade's face.
Cade and this cars and trucks. A day does not go by without him playing with these.
Cade was so excited to be holding Rylee like this. I think he felt like a "big boy" since we really were not helping him. But don't worry-we were hovering very close.

Cade looks so grown up! And I love Rylee's fat little cheeks!
Ah!!! I love them!!! Cant wait to see them!!!
Such cute pictures!!
What a cute family. It is fun to see how big both of the kids have gotten. Good luck with breaking the thumb-sucking habit. I loved how Natalie could sooth herself as a baby, but now at age 5 we are still dealing with it! But at the little age, it sure is cute!
They are precious. That sleeping bumbo picture and the last picture of the two of them are my favorites.
