Graduation

Me with Carmen and Taryn-fellow Elementary Education majors. We have been through the whole program together!
Dick Cheney sitting next to Elder Scott!

I am an official BYU alumni member. How strange is that?! I am so excited to be graduated but it is also so weird to have that part of my life over. I am going to miss being on campus and doing the "BYU thing". I loved it. I had a wonderful BYU experience.

The graduation ceremonies were excellent. I thought Dick Cheney's speech was very well said and it was so exciting to see President Hinckley there! No one really knew that we was coming so that was a fun surprise. The next day each college had their own ceremony. I know a lot of people don't care to actually walk and receive their "diploma" but I felt like it was the end of a big accomplishment so I wanted to. Here are a few pics showing the weekend. Thanks to everybody who came and supported me!!

Congratulations! I LOVE that picture of you and Shanna. I am excited for you and your new phase of life. Although very different from being a BYU student, it is great in others ways. It is filled with excitement, challenges, growth and new experiences.
